| First of all, we would like to thank all
the fans who made this dream possible, because
without you guys we are nothing!!! Its been 10 years doing this site, first under the name Selfanatico Tributo a Selena, now as Selena-Online.Com During these 10 years, i've had the pleasure of knowing many good people and Selena fans!, who are helping with the translation in english for this site, made with all my heart Since we opened this site, our goal is to clarify many rumors that the fans created for fun, which confuse others for life, and say the right facts on selena's life, the best and truthful as possible!!! With the bottom of my heart, thanks to all of you for keeping Selena's legacy over the years! Check the site daily for updates P.S.; I would also like to thank Michael F. After 3 years of waiting, the anticipated DVD
, Johnny Canales Presenta Selena is FINALLY out
as Selena Performances, including 9 Performances
and bonus features
Unfortunately, this DVD was re-edited by Emi Latin and they divided it into 2 parts ,unlike the original idea of Q-Productions , Q-Productions had the original idea to release a DVD with 16 performances and interviews!!! The original DVD was sent to Emi Capitol in October of 2007, but due to the legal problems of Emi Latin, they decided to postpone the project Emi Latin sold some shares to Televisa Mexico due to economic problems, Televisa was a co-owner of Emi Latin for that reason, during 3 years we saw the new logo Emi Televisa on all the releases of Emi After 3 years, Emi Latin re-bought their shares again from televisa and created Capitol Latin Capitol Latin, as their first attempt to raise money, put for the first time in the market a Selena boxset, with all the Selena catalog included, but they failed on sales due to them lying in many ways, making the Q's mad cause they don't approve the family photos, fans photos and messages from the fans! Capitol Latin, claims that they don't approve the fans pictures due to the fact they didn't sign any contracts for pictures releases, and they don't want any legal issues for it Now, as the second attempt to put Selena merchandise in the market, they decided to put Selena Performances in two parts! Good or bad, the DVD reached the number 1 on pre-sales on amazon.com showing more than once that Selena still competes with today's latin artists like Shakira , Marc Anthony And Ricky Martin... |
